Music Never Disappoints

Sydni Bratthauar, Writer

These past few days haven’t been some of my best days. They’ve been stressful, overwhelming, and just unlucky. Some days have been so bad that I’ve just felt completely drained. Relatable feeling, right? But the thing that has kept me going is music. I don’t know what I’d do without it.

Music has helped everyone at least once. Whether it was a stress reliever, a good feeling, or a sanctuary. Singers or instrumentalists who appear on singing/talent shows always have some sort of story. Music is the common factor in all of them.

One of my favorite things about music is that I can always find a song relating to something in my life, past or present. The genre doesn’t matter. It could be pop, country, classic rock, and much more. The lyrics are the important parts of the songs. The words connect to everyone in a different way.

Music is like a universal language. No matter where you go, it’s always there. This language that unifies everyone is one I hope never fades.
