Will Spider-Man Leave the Marvel Universe?

If you’re a big fan of Marvel, you’ve probably heard about the situation going on between Disney and Sony about Spider-Man.

After Spider-Man: Far From Home was released in theaters, Disney and Sony clashed swords. They argued about the finances of the movie and who would get how much. The original deal was that Disney would get 5% of the money and Sony would get the rest. Of course, once the movie made a very high amount of money, Disney didn’t want the 5%. Disney approached Sony with a 50/50 deal, but Sony refused.

Also, because Sony owns the rights of Spider-Man (part of the original deal), they can do whatever they want, including taking the beloved hero out of the Marvel Universe. We don’t know if Disney and Sony continued the conversations.

I, for one, am very upset about this news. Spider-Man is one of my favorite heroes and his part in the MCU was amazing and his relationship with Tony Stark made it even better! I wish that Stan Lee was still here so he could fix everything.

Overall, Spider-Man’s future is unknown, but leaning towards Sony. Spider-Man will always be in the MCU to me.
