On Tuesday, November 5th the Men’s College Basketball season gets under way. Following an exciting conclusion to last season which saw Virginia win it all, every team will be coming for the crown. This season’s Final Four will take place in Atlanta, Georgia at the Mercedes Benz Arena, which will host the final for the first time. The last time the final was in Atlanta was back in 2013 at the Georgia Dome, when the Louisville Cardinals won it all against the Michigan Wolverines 82-76.

During the preseason, the initial Associated Press top 25 came out, and there were no surprises on who came out at No.1. Following a successful season last year, Michigan State was named the No. 1 team in the country with 60 first place votes, followed by Kentucky with 2 first place votes and Kansas with 3 first place votes. Rounding out the top 5 is Duke at No.4 and Louisville at No.5.

This seasons Final Four is setting up to be a very exciting one. The obvious favorite is the Michigan State Spartans, but other teams like Duke and Kentucky all have the same shot. March Madness is the only time of year where upsets are always expected, and every team has the same shot to win it all. It is all set up to be a fantastic season for college basketball, but the question is who will come out on top?
