This season for the Trojan swim team was full of ups and downs. But through all the ups and downs, there is still a chance for many swimmers to achieve individual accomplishments and the district championships and even states. Many will travel to Cumberland Valley High School in an attempt to place well at the PIAA District III championships and qualify for the state championships.

“The team as a whole had a lot of sickness but we pushed through”, said junior Emily Stroble explaining the 3-7 record. But through all the struggles, Stroble acknowledges “We had two fast freshman that were able to really show up for the meets”. With that, the team looks to build upon that for years to come.

When asked about how to build confidence for next year, Stroble says “Just having a positive attitude while swimming, and to build better relationships between every swimmer”. Hopefully the team builds upon their relationships and comes together to be even better than this year, which would be a major accomplishment for the team as a whole.
